Why Brickell?

Brickell is the second largest financial center outside of New York and it has the hottest real-estate market in the US. Brickell has earned the nickname of “Wall Street South,” signaling the influx of financial, legal and banking institutions along with the well-heeled young professionals who run them. Most of the people moving to Brickell are between the ages of 25 and 45, working in industries like finance and law.

This new financial hub is just south of downtown Miami, and it’s attracting new residents, luxury condominiums, shopping centers, and dining destinations galore.

Visitors to Miami are also opting to stay here rather than South Beach because of chic new hotels like EAST, SLS Lux Brickell, W Miami and Miami.

What’s behind this growth?

The connectivity and sprawling shopping center are reminiscent of the mega-shopping malls in other international cities. On the heels of Brickell City Centre have come other developments such as Brickell Heights, 1010 Brickell, 1100 Millecento and Brickell Flatiron.
  • The Brickell financial district is a New York clone. It’s all about ambition, fast-paced lifestyle and connectivity. If you want to get ahead, Brickell is where it’s at. Everything you need to live, work, shop and relax can be found within a highly concentrated urban center.
  • Just north of Brickell, you’ll find Museum Park, which hosts music festivals, and The Perez Art Museum Miami and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science give you a hearty taste of culture.
