Giulio Nardi Antique Coral Blackamoor diamond 18k-Gold Lapel Brooch

This authentic aesthetically exotic and highly collectible vintage Blackamoor lapel brooch from the early deco era is made by Giulio Nardi, the pioneer designer of Moretto brooches in Italy in the 1920s.

Crafted in 18-karat white gold, It depicts the sculptured figure of black and red coral (Known as the turbaned Moor of Venice) including head, shoulders, and chest, with a diamond and coral enriched turban as a head covering, swathed in genuine round-faceted diamonds. 

The precious stones are set within botanically inspired elongated leaf and floral motif settings. Positioned at the center of the brooch is the cameo sculpture of a child rendered in artfully carved red coral, while an antique faceted pear-shaped diamond suspends from the lower extremity of the brooch. The reverse shows ornate botanical designs and the Designer's signature, the hallmark of the provenance and the purity mark '750', complemented by a pair of hinged pins of equal length. 

This breathtaking and elaborately detailed Nardi lapel brooch is cumulatively adorned with 3.50 carats of genuine diamonds, graded G-H color, and VS1 clarity. It is delivered in the original Nardi box with decorative olive green velvet around and satin lining inside and accompanied by a professional appraisal document.
