This exotic vividly colored collectible Giulio Nardi vintage Arlecchino lapel brooch is crafted in 18K yellow gold, weighing 51.2 grams and measuring 70 mm x 43 mm.
The exotic brooch depicts the sculptured bust of an Arlecchino, the Italian word for a harlequin, a renowned comic servant character from the Italian Comedia dell'arte.
The harlequin's head is rendered in bone and his domino (eye-mask) in black enamel on gold with a pair of tiny round-faceted diamonds simulating the eyes. The outfit and hat are swathed in 15.50 carats of vivacious, precious genuine sapphires and other stones in different colors (including tsavorite) set on a yellow gold base within artfully milgrain settings.
